DESCRIPTION:In partnership with Indigenous Services Canada Health and Social Services Sector and Health Canada\, Lakehead University’s Centre for Education and Research on Aging & Health (CERAH) is pleased to offer palliative care education for health and social care providers serving Indigenous Communities in Canada.\nCaring for Indigenous Peoples: Palliative Care Education for Health & Social Care Providers – Continuing the Journey*:\nThis workshop is the second of a two-part series that provides enhanced education on the palliative approach to care. \nConsidered intermediate-level and a continuation of the concepts discussed in Beginning the Journey. \nWho:\nHealth & social care providers working in Ontario who have already completed Beginning the Journey. \nHow:\nVirtual delivery (Zoom platform)\, completed over two\, 3-hour sessions \nDates & Times:\nDecember 3\, 10\, 2026 | 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM ET (both dates)\nComplete your Request to Register HERE\nRequest to Register Form due: July 31\, 2026 \nNOTE: Enrollment is a two-step process. \nStep 1: Complete the Request to Register form.
