The purpose of this session is to present a study that explored how a community of older adults living in a naturally occurring retirement community (NORC) with Oasis programming sought to build, and maintain, a sense of community by finding new ways of being together and engaging in collective occupation.
This session will outline how supportive service programs, like Oasis, play an important role in supporting older adults’ capacity to build strong, resilient communities that support well-being and aging in place.
